- He completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences,Hubli, Karnataka.
- He completed Diplomate in National Board in 2008.
- He did a fellowship in Phacoemulsification and Refractive surgery at Nethradhama Eye Hospital, Jayanagar, Bangalore.
- Has presented scientific papers and posters in national and international conferences.
- Has Trained more than 70 surgeons in the art of Phacoemulsification since 2010.
- Has special interest in Refractive surgeries - LASIK , ReLEx SMILE, ICL and Refractive Cataract surgery with Implantation of Toric, Multifocal and Trifocal intraocular lenses.

Preparing for your arrival
- 1. Get an annual eye examination. Always take a prior appointment for your routine eye tests.
- 2. Carry your old records, prescriptions and glasses.
- 3. If you wear contact lenses, it is ideal to be off lenses for at least 24 hours before your eye test. Carry your own contact lens case or eyeglass case for safe storage.
- 4. If you are a diabetic. Please contact your primary medical doctor if you need to modify the dosage schedule of oral medications or Insulin
- 5. For children coming for eye examination, parents should make sure the kids have had something to eat before arrival, as a complete examination in children might take a couple of hours.
Preparing for Surgery
- 1. If you are posted for surgery, you will receive a call from the hospital executives a day before your surgery ( On Saturday if planned for a Monday). For any clarifications Please call 6363355305.
- 2. You are required to have an adult accompany you, stay during the procedure and then to take you back home.
- 3. Please take your routine morning medications ( If any ), as usual on the day of surgery.
- 4. If you are a diabetic. Please contact your primary medical doctor if you need to modify the dosage schedule of oral medications or Insulin
- 5. If you are taking aspirin or any other blood thinners, please contact your primary physician to determine if you can continue taking these medications.
- 6. f you are asthmatic, please carry your inhaler.
- 7. Use of public transport from the surgery centre after discharge is not a recommended
- 8. If arriving by car, please park at the available legal parking slots near the hospital.
